My darling daughter (DD) has more clothes than she will ever be able to wear, thanks to our generous friends and family (not to mention that mama does a little shopping on the side). It's wonderful to have so many choices every day, but sometimes we just need to grab an outfit and get out the door. I keep a few ready-made outfits in her dresser for these fashion emergencies (i.e., daycare needs an extra set of clothes, the diaper bag needs to be replenished, or we are running late in the morning). They also work great for when daddy dresses her!

Joy ~ Great idea! I hope I remember that when I have bambinos.
By the way, I'm sure you have already been "Stumbled", but I'm new to it, and thought your site should be the first one I stumble. So, you have been.
Keep up the good work of sharing simply wonderful ideas for living a better life.
Another mom friend puts the clothes with socks and underwear in ziptop baggies so they're easy for dads to change the kids and everything matches, no hunting for errant socks. Work well for them!
My husband is usually the one to get my daughter dressed for school. He is not well skilled in matching clothes. Before I started matching outfits ahead of time, my daughter would go to school in some pretty crazy outfits. I wrote a similar post with my tips for managing kids wardrobes on my blog.
